Eleanor T Witkowski 85 of Scotch Plains died peacefully on Tuesday September 17, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday September 20, 2019 at St Bartholomew the Apostle Church,
Scotch Plains. Interment St. Teresa Cemetery, Summit. Visitation will be Thursday September 19, 2019 from 4pm -8pm
at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Bartholomew Church
Eleanor was born in Jersey City, NJ, was raised and lived in Jersey City until settling to Scotch Plains in 1960.
She graduated Seton Hall University with a Bachelors Degree in Education after graduation she was a substitute teacher
for many years. Eleanor worked after raising her family as an Office Assistant for over 25 years with Custom Molders in
Scotch Plains. She was a devoted parishioner of St Bartholomew Church, you could always find Eleanor there on Saturday
at the 5 pm mass, a few rows from the back. Eleanor will be missed by her friends in the Wednesday evening card game.
Eleanor is predeceased by her beloved husband Edward G.' 05 and son Edward G. Jr. '19.
She is survived by her loving children Diane Schweizer and husband Michael and Karen Rodriguez and husband Richard.
Cherished grandchildren Christopher, Robert, Danielle, Matthew, Richie and James. She is also survived by loving brother
