Not sure what to say?

I had the great fortune to travel to the Christian Haitian Outreach school and orphanage in Carrefour, Haiti many years ago. The singles group from my church spent 10 days assisting so the staff could take a break to see family. It was a wonderful opportunity. I have always held Sister Eleanor in my heart.

I remember mother Workman. As a youth, I remember her coming to my church with slides of the work in Haiti. What a saintly woman and soldier. Sitting in the kingdom of God next to this saint will definitely give one a sense of Incompleteness and inadequacy. God bless your soul Mother Eleanor

I met Ms. Workman in 1962 thru my brother Reverend Raymond O. Frazier. He was 32, a newly convert to Christ and a fledgling minister. I was 30, He gave her the lovely two-story home on 43rd and Broadway in Los Angeles which enabled her to sale profitably and move to Colorado. Oftentimes, I was in her home pursuant to church services on Sundays among other guests, eating, singing praises, enjoying fellowship. I do not believe there is anyone who can speak negatively about this holy woman. ...

Does anyone know if Jonathon steinhart is aware of her passing? He is the son of Helen and Ralph Steinhart who were very involved with haitian Christian Outreach for years.

I met Mother Workman in 1994. It was my first foreign mission's trip. I was inspired by her dedication and what she accomplished.

Mom Workman's loving and caring spirit will always be etched in my heart. I met her years ago when she visited my Aunt Luretha Reed in anchorage, AK. They met in Denver when my aunt lived there in the 70s. My aunt and many others visited Haiti to assist in the orphanage that Mom Workman founded. I think of her often and just searched the internet to see if she was still living. I had contacted her in 2007 when my aunt passed; she sent her condolences. They are now together. Even though...

It was a blessing in the Lord to have met Mama Eleanor at Brooklyn Tabernacle in NYC. I am sorry my daughter never got a chance to meet with her. She was a beautiful believer in the Lord. Thank God, she was able to be a missionary in Haiti to the people. I am now a grandmother of two children. Sister Claudette Valery

Momma, even now your life of faith in Jesus blesses and challenges me to believe beyond what my eyes see! Thank you for your influence on Susan Knaack, the mother of my four beloved children, before I met her. I was reaching out to you when I learned of your passing and I now feel like Peter running behind John to see Jesus on the 3rd day...and am looking forward to catching up to both of you soon! --Shalom bshem Yeshua HaMashiach tsidkenu!
