Aunt Eleanor had the scoop on everyone! We would go over to Grandma's house and she was full of news and tidbits of information and was always ready to share. She enjoyed the HGTV channel and would be watching it many times when we were there. (Yes, she got me hooked!). Saturday nights, it was the Lawrence Welk show! I will never forget the tune to the song they always ended with. But the one thing I always had in common with Ellie was our love of cats. She loved her cats! One of my favorite pictures of her was her holding Ronan like a baby. They both looked happy to be together. Sleep well, Ellie Mae.

Aunt Eleanor ("Ellie" as many of us referred to her) was a special member of our family. Since my siblings and I spent a lot of time at Grandma and Grandpa Wynn's home in the summer time when we were children, where Aunt Ellie also lived, we kind of grew up around her. Aunt Ellie was always a curious person, interested in the "goings on" in the neighborhood. She was a 40 + year employee at Florida Hospital Orlando in the mail room and was known for her dedication to her duty and for the thousands of miles she walked while carrying out her duties in the Hospital over the many years of her career. I will miss Aunt Ellie but I am confident that we will see her again when Jesus comes!

Dear Wynn family,
Please accept my deepest condolences for your family's loss. During this difficult time may you be comforted by fond memories and loving words; like those found at Isaiah 57:15.

Ellie Mae was my sidekick for half my life. She and I had a special bond that really can't be explained. She was not you would consider "normal" but I seemed to understand her better than most. Guess that makes me not normal as well! I miss the good ole days of singing songs together even though neither one of us can carry a tune, taking rides in the car looking at nice yards, and finding good deals at thrift stores. We both loved our furry felines. It's a blessing she's no longer suffering or struggling. Thank you Lord!
