My sister sent this announcement to me and I wanted to tell you that my father who has been gone for almost 30 years now, was an estimator with the Perini Corporation for years. This certainly was a reminder of years gone by for me when we would go to the office with our Dad on Saturday mornings while he did some work. I even remember the Boston Braves! I am so saddened to learn of Elena's death. She and I were classmates at Regis Colege and we kept in touch through the 73 years since we first met. We were together at Regis this past May when we attended a luncheon at Regis to honor Elena's dear friend, Mary Anne O'Toole Walker. It was evident then that she was not well, but she still had her fighting spirit. May her surviving family find comfort in the memories they have shared together. May God rest her noble soul.
