Not sure what to say?

To my Nonni...I've come to know you not as the child I was once, but as the wife and mother I have become. Although, I have many memories of you from my childhood,it is the memories from the past 10 years that I hold most dear to my heart & soul. You may not have known this Nonni, but through our many phone conversations(which lasted 2 hours at a time) you taught me some of the most important things I needed to learn about life, especially my own.You listened to me so intently, over the past...

Nonni you were one of the most interesting and funny people I have ever met. There was never a time where I did not learn something new from visits to your house with my family. Likewise, there was never a time you didn't make me laugh, in your own special way.

God is lucky to have you. With your work ethic I am sure you are already cleaning His chicory.

Love Michael

To the Salomon family, please accept my profusely condolences for great loss, however we have to remember that she is imprinted in each one of you people.
I met Nonni in 1994 through her grandson William and I got to tell you! That life just gives you a few chances to meet people of an amazing and unique character such as Nonna. A person with great humor, humility, respect, a trooper with a spark about life, with a great appreciation and love for others.
Even that I did not see...

I didn't know your Nonni Salomone, and I didn't know mine, either, as she had passed away before I was born. I cherish the photo of her and her "brood" that sits on my mantel and the many stories I heard about my Nonni Salomone while growing up.

My "Salomone" family immigrated from Piemonte, Italy to California early in the 20th Century. We were the only "Salomone" family in California.

We were bakers in Italy and remained so in California. My father was Guiseppe...

To My Nonni:

Sitting in your little kitchen on a busy street I learned the most valuable lessons in life! These lessons and our long conversations are embedded in my heart and mind and will remain there through my lifetime. As I try to pass these life lessons on to my children I can only hope I make you proud and do them justice. It is time for you to rest and be at peace. I will miss you more than you’ll know, and as we ended all of our conversations: ”I love you Nonni…..I...

My deepest condolances to your family, esp. to my best friend, Bill. How lucky we were to have the incredible mothers that we had. They were of a generation that is no more. Hold on to the many memories of fun and laughter and food. And you have many years of laughter to remember. Much love to you all. Russ Catanese and family.

Cogliandro Family,

So sorry to hear of your loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours .

I extend my deepest sympathy on the passing of your beautiful Mother. Know that you will never find another woman like her. Mothers like her and ours do not exist anymore. She has left you with volumes of precious memories. As you continue to live your lives you will realize that those memories become your greatest assets.
