To the Yeates family, I have known Elena since our childhood's spent on Capitol Hill. We went to Lafayette Elementary through West High together. There were several conversations we had after her terrible stroke. I visited Elena when she told me she was pregnant with her first child, and I was pregnant with my first baby as well.
