Not sure what to say?

Elfriede told me about our first meeting. She said I was on a swing and informed her that I was 3 years old and went to Sunday school. She clearly enjoyed that memory, and I will always remember her being that trustworthy mom and friend in my neighborhood. I remember how she let Christy and me drag out all her toys playing "Queen for a Day". I remember Elfriede out on the street with all the kids, as we tried out the skateboards. To this day, I find myself warming up to ladies with German...

I will forever remember Elfriede with the warm pleasant feeling I enjoy at hearing a feminine German accent . I had the privilege and blessing of knowing her my entire life. It is so very sad to loose my mom's dear friend . I can still hear and see you in my minds eye and heart. I pray Heaven is as lovely as your beloved Vienna.

I loved talking to her! I remember her and Oma speaking German to each other. Ms. Elfriede was special to me because she was my last connection to my Oma (other than family of course). She was always so welcoming and delightful. She will be remembered in many people's lives for forever. May she rest in the light of the Lord and watch over us, especially her family-Cariss and Mitchel.

I always enjoyed time spent with Elfriede. I remember laughing & even shedding a few tears when trading stories of the past about each of our families. She was a sweet lady that I will miss dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with the Chandler family in this difficult time.

may your light forever shine

Mother was like no other. She always took care of everyone else over herself.
She was our treasure and will never be forgotten for all of her kindness and love.
