Elfriede Winiker

My heart aches for Elfriede´s family. She lived across the street from me for years! I always said I would have never made it without her help. She was a dear friend and such a help for me. Sending prayers to Tripp and his family and Katherine and her family and to all grandchildren and family members. No one ever could replace her, she had such kindness in her heart. Elfriede was my mother's across the hall neighbor at Gaynor Arms for several years. I remember her kindness and neighborliness toward my mother, Lib, and our family, for which we were very grateful during those years. May your good memories of her carry you through this time.

I knew Elfriede from New Friends of Carolina. We were in a Divas group where we prepared dishes and shared lunch together. She was a fabulous cook! I also traveled to NYC with her and a few other friends. I found her to be one of the classiest women I have ever known. I'm sorry to hear of her passing. She will be missed and touched many lives. Prayers to the family, whom she loved so much!

I remember Elfriede fondly from our time working in the reservations center at Eastern Airlines on Fairview Road. She was an interesting person, and I always enjoyed seeing her, as our paths crossed again in later years while I was listing and selling real estate. I am so sorry for her family's loss, as I know she is missed.
