Eli Ginzberg

Eli Ginzberg was a member of the Columbia University Graduate School committee that reviewed my proposal to establish a new doctoral program in sociomedical sciences. His encouragement led to the establishment of the SMS program, which later became a full-fledged academic department, the first of its kind.
