Not sure what to say?

i had never heard of this guest book until today. as i was reading it my heart rejoiced. oh my brother and friend, encourager to so so many, i miss you. you lived for christ and you are where you longed to be. i will miss your humor, your encouragement, your love for christ and mostly my covering of your prayers for me and my family. i knew you were an inspiration to many others besides myself but the stories i heard from people who you touched make me love god so much. you were so...

Eli is a wonderful man, I still have the letters and postcards he sent me over the years, and will miss his silly phone calls. He sure could light up a room with his lively personality He was so brotherly to me and like an Uncle to my girls, He so trusted His God-a sure trust that makes you take inventory of your own and lived "To live is Christ, to die is gain" My condolences to the family.

I first met Eli when my son was in second grade at SCS. I worked with him teaching those wonderful hearts for God. I will never forget when Eli had a 50 gallon fish tank with green water that had been sitting for I don't know how long. Well I decided to clean that tank and Eli and I almost fainted. He couldn't even laugh without gagging from the smell. Eli was someone who you could approach and always come away learning something new. I think it is because of him that my son strives to be...

Eli was a great friend and a wonderful teacher to all three of my children. I appreciate the example that he set for them in second grade; an example that has lasted with them well into their adult years. The Masse family has lost a very much-loved member of their family, but the angels rejoiced the minute Eli entered heaven. I am sure that God will say of him "Well done, thy good and faithful servant." May we all live by his example.

My deepest sympathy to Eli's family and friends: I first met Eli when he was a 2nd grade teacher at SCS. He had my son in his class. As I approached the classroom door, he was yelling at the class. Apparently, it had been a bad morning! Regardless, of his occasional yelling and poor spelling, Eli's students loved him! I remember when Eli broke his glasses at school. My son came home and got a dollar from his piggy bank. He brought the dollar to Eli to buy new glasses. Recently, Eli told me...

Dear Masse Family,
I'm truly sorry to hear of Jr'S passing, I will always remember him in the ice cream truck. He was a wonderful neighbor and a great man. Sincerely Diana Frappier

Eli~
My friend, and brother in Christ...thank you for a friendship that was real and set the standard of what Godliness is all about. You are a man who wasn't afraid to say "Yes God". I love you and will see you in Glory along with many other because you were willing to tell them the gospel.
Forever Lianne

Eli was my first exposure to what I perceived, at the time, a Spirit Filled Christian. I was baptized on a Saturday night in Lenox. Following the baptism was a concert of Christian music.. I had a terrible time, did not want to be there, couldn’t wait to get home, had terrible nights sleep as well. In church in the next morning, Eli came up to me, not knowing of my terrible night following the baptism, but read my countenance and said “You had a bad night didn’t you? The devil hated...

Only God knows how many lives Eli has touched and affected by his friendship and zeal for Jesus.

He was there more than one when I needed him. I am looking forward to the time that I know I will see him again.
