Elia H. Martinez born on October 26, 1932 went to be with Lord July 4, 2020 at the age of 87. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose A. Martinez; parents, Pedro and Ophelia Hernandez; sons, Jose Angel Martinez and Alejandro Martinez; brothers, Pedro Hernandez, Gilbert Hernandez, and Gomesindo Hernandez; sisters, Janie Chapa, and Maria Jimenez; granddaughter, Angelina Chavez; great-grandson, Isaac Alvarez; and great-great-granddaughter, Julianna Cantu.

She is survived by her daughters, Rosalinda Martinez (spouse, Moses), Ofelia Chavez (spouse, Paul), and Petra Martinez; sons, Benito Martinez, Rafael Martinez (spouse, Sonia) and Mauricio Martinez; sister, Rosario Guillen; grandchildren, Joann Alvarez, Joshua Martinez, Jeremy Martinez, Veronica Ramirez, Yvonne Mendez, Bernice Lopez, Paul Chavez III, David Chavez, Kristopher Chavez, Marcus Chavez, Raphael Martinez Jr., Amanda Martinez; great-grandchildren, Priscilla Jimenez, Jacob Jimenez, Joseph A. Delvalle, Omar Campos, Nathan Ramirez, Brandon Ramirez, Joe A. Mendez, Joseph D. Lopez, Jasmine Torres, Jalissa Lopez, Justine Narvaez, Sebastian Chavez, Destiny Chavez, Gabrielle Chavez, Michael Chavez, Paul J. Chavez, Madeline Chavez, Elijah Chavez, Alexander Chavez, Jordan Chavez, Angelina J. Chavez, Kristopher Chavez Jr., and Noah Chavez; great-great-grandchildren, Kaytlynn Cantu, Jeremiah Cantu, Penelope Jimenez, Gary Rios Jr., Omar Campos III, Emma Campos, Luke Campos, Delilah Lopez, Malakai Torres, and Zayden Bardales; as well as numerous extended family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
