Not sure what to say?

To my grandfather

Dear Aunt Alice, Steve, John, Chris, Pete and Jim: I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Curly's death. I have such great memories of him. I always looked forward to visits from Uncle Curly and Aunt Alice (the boys too, of course!). I still smile every time I think of him.

Dear Alice,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your husband and my dear friend. As you may recall, Bob and I were neighbors and grew up together in the same neighborhood years ago. Again, my sincere sympathy is extended to you and the family.

To Pete and Family...Sorry to hear about your loss. My Love and prayers to all.

Dear Alice: My loving thoughts and prayers are with you. As you know "Curly", his father and brothers were neighbors of my folks (Pat Murphy) so many years ago when we were young and the world was safe in White Salmon. Many wonderful memories have come to mind. I read about Curly in this morning's Oregonian (Portland newspaper) and have to tell you all of us were privileged to have known both you and Curly. May our Good Lord give you peace. Fondly, Kay (Murphy) Schlinkman

Pete and family- I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I met your father a couple of times, but I had no idea he led such an interesting life -wish I could have known him better. May the Lord bless you and your family at this time.

I was privileged to have served on the USS Wiseman, DE 667 with Bob in Korea in 1950 and 1951. We enjoyed visiting at the ship's crew reunions after that. Thanks for keeping me posted throughout the past year.
Alice, may God's peace be with you and the family.

Uncle Steve and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss, I know that you will take comfort in the knowledge that you will all be reunited someday.

You're all in my prayers.
Shanon
