Not sure what to say?

A year has passed since you left and went to Heaven. I have seen Patty twice at the Veterans Cemetery and I know she thinks about you everyday.
Cal you definitely are missed by all who knew you but we are blessed to have our memories of your laughter and of your stories and jokes.
May God bless you always and may you forever rest in peace.
And to your family and friends may each of you find comfort knowing Cal is in a much better place sharing his laugh with God's Angels.

Cal you will be sorely missed. He always had a good word of advice or a joke to add to your daily wanderings. And of course his booming laugh will never be forgotten. I'm sure you are surrounded in heaven by friends telling another joke. Rest well my friend.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Emilo's passing. My dad, John Newell, worked with Cal at Carmel Dairy way back when. I was a youngster then but Cal always remembered me and our family.I had a great conversation with Emilio at my father's funeral. I'll never forget his million dollar smile and that infectious laugh. It was always special to bump into Cal.

All of us have an opportunity to leave behind something very special, a legacy.Cal's will be a rememberance of love and...

To all the families, and friends of EmiIio...I/we always enjoyed being around Emilio, he was cheerful, and genuine. Our times working with him on Lions Club projects...as well as the Crosby/ATT golf tournaments, was a pleasure. He was a fine friend. RIP Friend

To Patty and the Family and Friends of Cal.
I am so sorry for your loss and send you my condolences. I met Cal when I worked downtown at the Bachelor Shop. He and his Loving wife Patty were some of my best memories of working.
I also spent time with Cal at Red's when I use to be a regular there a few years back.
Cal often spoke about the history of Monterey and was proud of his heritage.
I am very lucky to have known Cal and know he's in Heaven telling his stories and...

My name is Glenn Hennington a somewhat frequent patron of Red's donuts and one who consider it a Blessing to share Cal's time, laughter, wit, spirit and jokes along with a few others. He is missed deeply and I for one shall never forget his spirit, kindness, and his gracious sharing of wisdom.
My heart and prayers go out to Pat and all of his family, he surely is missed.
God Bless you all,
Glenn

Rest In Peace Cal.

We so enjoyed our group dinners. Cal was a wonderful story teller and such an all around nice guy. He will be missed.
