Not sure what to say?

I have just learned of Elie's passing and I am in shock. I worked with Elie on a project in Bluffton, SC in 2020-2021 and I so enjoyed his insight, knowledge and sense of humor. Even though I practiced architecture for over 40 years, it never failed to amaze me that I would learn new things every time I was with Elie. My belated thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Dear Kathy and Elise,
I am so sad to read of Elie’s passing. I remember his smile and sense of humor even though it had been many years since we had seen each other. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I just learned of Elie's passing. He and I met in freshman algebra at Wando High School. We were assigned seats next to each other. We both struggled with algebra, barely getting by the first grading period. We realized that if we didn't start to take it seriously and study, we would be doomed! We began helping each other and studying together and our grades improved immensely, so much so that our teacher questioned whether we were cheating. She soon learned that we were just taking it a bit...

Dear Kathy and Elise,

While my condolences may come with a delay, they are no less heart-felt.
The news of Elie’s passing came as such a shock. In mid-January he completed a review of a project at our office. Over lunch Elie shared his vision of his retirement, planning on returning to NH. He shared memories of growing up, with a classic anecdotal story. He had such passion for his work and clearly enjoyed the intellectual discourse associated with project reviews. While I...

I just found out that Elie had passed away. There are no words. He was one of the kindest, sweet men I have ever had the pleasure to know. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. He loved being a Dad and was so proud of Elise. God bless you all.

I am just finding out about this and I´m deeply saddened. I just finished a garage apartment that Elie helped me with and now live in. As I read all these wonderful condolences that in itself is such a wonderful testimony of his well lived life. My prayers are with you Kathy and Elise. Thank you for sharing him with us.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I watched the video and what a beautiful family.

My heart felt prayers and condolences go out to you during this time.

Sincerely,
Lisa Weaver
