Not sure what to say?

Wow best friend we've known each other over 25 years me having 4 daughters uncle "Chuck". I've called and called I knew it was something wrong. Rest in Heaven you finally can see your baby brother and your loving parents. We always wanted to see our offsprings and we finally got too be grandparents.
BFF Wynsdae

I knew Chuck from a mutual friend C. Victor Lander. Each time Chuck would come to Dallas we'd hang out having lots of fun. Hanging with Chuck and Victor was always a blast. It's been a while since I've seen Chuck and I must say this news of his passing is very surprising, as I didn't know he'd been ill. I have no doubt God called him home, so we celebrate his life and legacy knowing he's in heaven. I don't know any of his family, but I'd like to offer my deepest sympathy.

Chuck was my best friend. I met him freshman year at Morehouse, and we remained friends ever since. We knew and visited each other for almost 50 years, and I spoke with him just 2 months ago. My heart is heavy, but I believe, and I know he’s in Heaven with the Lord, strumming that bass. Rest In Peace, my oldest friend, God willing I’ll see you again on the other side.

Chuck and I go all the way back to Oglethorpe Elementary School. I'm sad to learn of his death. He was friendly, personable, outgoing and talented. I have no doubt sure he'll be a band member when he gets to heaven. Rest in God's sweet peace, Chuck.
