Our thoughts and prayers are with you Aunt Jerry.

Our condolences to you Aunt Jerry. I love you.

I am grateful to God for allowing me to sit under such a wonderful anointed man of God. It is the word that he preached that encourage me to hang on to see God's blessings come to pass. His words was always seasoned with love. As he rest from his labor, I will always feel his fatherly spirit, hear his soft laugh and see his smile. Sister Holmes, my prayers and love will continue to cover you.

To the Family of Bishop Elijah Holmes:

Jerusalem United Holy Church extends deepest sympathy to Sister Maria Holmes and the entire family
of Bishop Elijah Holmes.

It is at times like these that we must rely on our trust and faith in God, who is our strength in times of sorrow.
It is through his love that we find comfort and peace.

We pray that the memories you...

I'm deeply saddened with the passing of Bishop Holmes. I've known him since I was a little girl. I remember being at his wedding; I was 6 yrs old. He then mentored me as I grew in ministry. A true soldier has gone HOME.

In loving memory of a great person and my friend

No one sang "It Is Well", "How Great Thou Art", "God Specializes" and "Only What You Do For Christ Will Last" more fervently than Bishop Holmes. No one preached more stirring Gospel messages over the course of his ministry. No pastor has ever fed and served his flock more faithfully. No servant of God has made a more profound impact upon me personally. Therefore, all I can really do right now is "bow in humble submission to God's will" and remember as Bishop Holmes himself so often...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

I have no words to express my heartfelt sorry to Mother Mariah,we have to find solace and comfort in GODs arms.To have joy in knowing what a wonderful life to have shared even a miniscule part of him.GOD makes no mistakes, and I have and always will thank him for his grace and mercy. Rest now Bishop Elijah, such a good and faithful servant of the LORD and a true testament of faith and humility. We shall remember you for the rest of our lives. Until that great day when we can all be together...
