R I P. VSU4LIFE

Coach Johnson was a stellar professor and man. I will always remember the interest he took in every student. He is my most memorable “Trojan”. Peace and blessings to his family.

To Ms. Johnson, David and family, we are saddened to hear of Coach Johnson's transition. We send our deepest condolences and prayers.

Gwen Fields Proctor and Dr. Angela Fields Curtis

My thoughts and prayers are with Evoria and David.
You have my sincere condolences.

Sending our prayers and condolences to Mrs Johnson and the Family. Dr Johnson added so much knowledge, laughter and joy into our lives. He made us feel so welcomed as a young Family moving into the neighborhood. He will truly be missed. Edwin, Tammy, Khalil and Kaleb.

I had the pleasure of working with Elijah at Parks and Recreation for Chesterfield County. My first encounter with him was as my swimming teacher freshman year at VSU. We have always worked well together. To Mrs. Johnson and the family you are in my prayers.

Rest in Love

Coach Johnson was always so upbeat and ready to roll!! He made me feel special because I am not an athlete but his encouragement kept me going. He was a very nice man to have known. I pray for peace for the Johnson family and the VSU community. May he truly rest in the hands and feet of our loving Father Jesus
