Chadwick Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC - New London Obituary

Elinor “Lynne” Chadwick, 71, of Chalk Pond Road died on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Concord Hospital after a short battle with lung cancer. She was born August 5, 1946 in Braintree, MA, the daughter of Elinor Wheeler.

Lynne did many things throughout her life: waitress, floral designer, teachers aide, leather worker, farmer, and mother. Above all, Lynne loved animals and was an avid gardener. If you had a question on either thing, she was the lady to call. Lynne was very proud of the gardens at her house.

Lynne was predeceased by her husband Art in 2015. She is survived by their children: Kirk Chadwick and his life partner Joanne Davis, Karyn Chadwick Scott and her fiancé Kevin Eldridge, granddaughter Sydney Alexandra, daughter Krissie and her husband Matthew Cole.  And we can’t forget her companion of the last 14+ years, her dog Mac. Other family members include her brother Walt Frazier and his wife Ginny, her brother Dan Wheeler and his wife Annie, sister Peg Leighton, sister Kit Wheeler and sister Dawn Wheeler as well as the Chadwick family and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Sutton Volunteer Fire Station on North Road North Sutton, NH.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Financial Assistance Fund at Wendell Veterinary Clinic 131 Route 103 Sunapee, NH 03782.
