Not sure what to say?

Julie and Katherine, your mom was a special friend in many ways. We often walked our dogs together, and I loved our conversations. Elinor was one of the brightest and most interesting women that I have known. She has a special place in my heart. I will never forget her sharp wit and the laughs that we shared. She was much loved by myself and my sweet daughter, Mina.

My sincerest condolences to the family. She loved you all very much. Nisha

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family during this time of grief. Psalms 65 : 2.

Dear Julie and Katherine,
Thinking of your mother makes me smile. We first met 50 years ago when we were both teaching in Flemington. Several years later, when she was working at Edna Mahan (called Clinton Farms at the time) she convinced me to apply for a job there. Soon after, Jane Castner joined the staff. No matter what obstacles we faced, and they were many and varied, your mom found a way to make us laugh. Who could resist her impish smile and infectious laugh?
Fondly,
Lynne Lauck

Mrs. Fisher was a lovely, lovely person. So sorry to read of her passing. To her Daughter Kathy, I am profoundly sad for your loss. I know your Mother was your Friend and the two of you had an incredible relationship. Please know she is thought of with fondness and love as I knew her as an adult, not just when we were kids. God bless you and your Family in this very difficult time. Pauline Bahrt

I am so sorry for your loss. Words are inadequate.

Elinor was a big part of my life, as a friend and more; we would "porch sit" with a jug of wine and talk about everything from world affairs to spinach to her daughters and to the inmates we taught. She was funny and bright and a fellow liberal, and I have missed that. What a woman!

With loving memory from our first
meeting in Essex Fells NJ in September
1942 through all the years
