HAMILTON, Elinor Beatrice - Of Grand Blanc, age 88, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2007 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Don Neuville officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, Arthritis Foundation or Alzheimer's Association, in honor of Bill Spidle. Visitation 4-8PM Tuesday and 11AM Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Elinor was born in Red Bay, Alabama on September 21, 1918 and was a resident of the Flint area most of her life. She enjoyed playing Bridge and was active in Bridge clubs and Rankin Handy Hands. Surviving are daughters, Nancy and husband William Spidle of Carmel, Indiana, Patricia and husband Joseph Colangelo of Largo, Florida; son, Richard and wife Rose-Marie Hamilton of Grand Blanc; she will be dearly missed by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Carl and wife Norma McLeod of California; sisters, Evelyn Nickola of Burton, Barbara Brock of Florida and Margaret Smith of Louisville, Kentucky; many cherished nieces and nephews.
