MARTIN, Elinor Shelgren, 82, of Chesterfield, Va., formerly of Bradford, Pa. and San Diego, Calif., born August 5, 1928, died September 12, 2010. She was wed June 25, 1960 to her late husband, William V. Martin. She is survived by a son, John in North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews throughout the country. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday at New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 6415 Irongate Dr., Richmond, Va. 23234. In lieu of flowers and cards, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I can only image that Elinor was a cousin to my Dad, John D. Shelgren, formally of Bradford, PA son of Carl and Helen Shelgren.
