My condolences to you all. Mrs. Sweeney was one of my teachers at PS #16. A wonderful teacher who took her time to make sure you learned.RIP Mrs. Sweeney. Because of you, Mrs. Sanchez and others I am where I'm at today.

I am so sorry to hear about Elinor Sweeney. I will miss seeing her at St. Anthony's mass on Sunday and the beach at Ship Ahoy.

I was so sorry to hear late today from Mary that your Mother had passed. She was a lovely Lady. I remember the last time I saw her,she was at the nursing home where my Mom is and the three of us had a nice chat about Jersey City. Please accept my condolences. Mrs. Sweeney was my favorite teacher at PS#16. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't like history. She was great friend to the Donnelly family.

Bill and Elinor were wonderful friends to my parents Betty and Bill Donovan. Every Christmas I looked forward to my card from Elinor. She was as the saying goes "good people". God Bless you Elinor - the world was a better place because of you.
