Not sure what to say?

Elder Butler, together with his wife will always be remembered by Filipino saints. What a Christ like person!

I still think of him often!

Dr. Butler was my freshman Chemistry teacher, and I have always considered him to have been the greatest mentor from my years at the Y. I read about his passing in the department news letter, and felt sad.

I think of Dr. Butler every time I hear the local weather man tell us about the tempicher. I often think about him as I read great literature. I attended the BYU Forum when he was the speaker, and I still laugh when I remember "finalizationalize." I obtained a copy of that...

President E.Butler amazing person... i always remember his advise...work,work,work elder tacbobo.

We remember Bishop Butler well and his whole family. We hope your memories of happy times will help you get through this sad time of parting.

From the inspired advice Bp Butler gave me in 1969 through the years of interest and encouragement as our family grew, we are deeply indebted to Bp Butler. May God bless his widow and children at this difficult time.

Dr. Butler was my bishop (BYU11th Ward), chemistry teacher, mentor and friend. Meetings in the Ward began with his introduction of the prelude music which everyone listened to! Dr. Butler kept my use of...

Many fond memories come to mind as I think of the time I spent with President Butler in the Bacolod mission. What an amazing teacher!!! I think the moment he looked in my eyes and said "Elder, I trust you and the Lord trusts you," has had more impact on my life than anything. The earth is surely a lesser place without him; the spirit world all the better. Thank you President for your example, dedication and selfless service

Our deepest heartfelt sympathy to Sister Butler and the rest of Elder Butler's family. My husband and I treasure Elder and Sister Butler's friendship and the memories of our times together. You are such a great example and inspiration for us and many others. We love you. You truly are disciples of Jesus Christ!
