Not sure what to say?

My condolences to her family ...met many years ago as kids in the hospital in the Bronx...she swallowed a whistle and I had a case of meningitis ...anyway we were roommates and Elisa was discharged first and our mothers exchanged addresses for us and we kept in touch till just before going to high school

I never met this Teacher but I send Love and respect to all Teachers. It was an African American Older Teacher who helped me change my Life around and receive a G.E.D. and attend H.V.C.C. Continued R.I.P. to these two brave, and Caring Woman, Blessings to their Families.

Elisa was married to my nephew Anthony (Tony) Roman. I always enjoyed visiting with her at many family gatherings. I especially enjoyed when they visited me when I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. Quick witted and current in the latest news and trends, I understand how well she enjoyed the teaching profession. We shared an hour long phone call a year ago and I will always treasure that conversation. May you rest in peace my dear friend. Love, Uncle George

I am so sorry to hear this news. I was a former student and I recall very few teachers. Elisa was more than a teacher, she was a good friend. And though many years have passed since I've seen her I have not forgotten her. Tough in class but fair whether you believed it or not. Funny and hip if you were lucky enough to get know her. She will surely be missed. I'm lucky to have had the experience of being her student and to have become friends with Elisa and Tony. Sympathies to all.

I am so so sorry to hear about Mrs. Roman's passing. She was a wonderful teacher and a good friend to our family. I wish there was something wonderful I could say, but there really isn't. RIP and give Mom a hug for me!

.D.E.P. No la conoci, pero somos Latinos y eso es suficiente para mi, soy Tambien del Bronx. un abrazo rompecostillas a su familia y amistades, Amen !!

She was my English teacher in high school. She was tough when she needed to be, but the first to praise you about a good assignment. Im sorry for your loss. Please know she touched the lives of so many students.
