Elisabeth Ann Petry Riley

I just learned of Liz's death and am deeply saddened. Her mother was a colleague of mine as a visiting writer at the University of Hawaii and was a dear friend, as was Liz. She visited me in Hawaii years ago, and I visited her and Larry six or seven years ago. I spoke with her several months ago when she was in rehab, but I didn't realize that her illness was terminal. I miss her already!

The Naughton family of Saybrook adds their condolences on the death of Liz Petry Riley. I was very saddened to learn of Liz´s passing. She was a joy to work with at The Press. I will miss her presence at our reunions that she helped organize year after year. She was a wonderful person in every way!
