Elise D. Kabbes nee Doepel, age 89, of Flossmoor since 1956. Beloved wife of the late Harry Kabbes. Loving mother of John Kabbes, Martha (late Jerry) Hesse, late Peggy (David) Norgren and Mark (Kim) Kabbes. Cherished grandmother of Lindsey (Kaela Pearce), Kelly (Mark) Govea, Gregory and Katie Kabbes and Megan (Megan Hall), John (Kelly) Bramlette, David Bramlette and Alex Teixeira, and Jack, Neil and Michelle Norgren. Dear sister of Mary Wineberg and Robert Doepel Jr. Member of Olympia Fields Country Club. Board member of South Suburban Hospice and Board member of the Abby Foundation. Member of the Flossmoor Book Club and a longtime parishioner of the Infant Jesus of Prague Parish. Visitation Wednesday October 8, 8:30am until 9:30am prayers, at the Tews Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood, IL. Funeral Mass to follow at the Infant Jesus of Prague Church Mass 10am.
