I loved our visit to Christie´s for the colored diamond sale. The orange diamond earrings were my favorite. Elissa was a terrific person. She was an excellent appraiser and knew the jewelry world inside and out. I was lucky to meet her through the alumni association of the Gemological Institute of America. I will remember her warmly. Thank you for being in my life.

My husband's family (Sheppard) were longtime customers of Suburban Jewelers, and I believe my in-laws may have known Elissa's parents from their high school days. I met Elissa when she was working in the store as a teen. She was unforgettably cheerful, helpful, and kind. I'm sure she will be greatly missed by all who knew her well--may you find comfort by honoring Elissa as you emulate her helpful kindness and cheerful energy. Shalom.
