One of my fondest memories was the Thanksgiving that Elizabeth came to my home with her daughters Laura and Dorisse, to spend the holiday. Elizabeth was already ill, but she genuinely had a wonderful time. Everyone "fussed over" her and she seemed to really love it. I will always cherish this memory that I was fortunate enough to share with a fragile, yet loving person.
