In 1971 I was employed aa a Nanny for the children of Edward Kearse and lived with them on Brattle Rd. Your sweet Mother asked me if I would be interested in taking a position as a traveling companion for the wife of Gov. Rockefeller while she toured Europe; such a kind gesture. I also remember 4 wonderful Alexander children who once brought little Allie K a great big purple elephant while she was ill. May God be with all of you.

To The Strates Family,
My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family Jim.
My prayers are with you all also.

When I was a child, Beth would invite me to her home to play with Jamie. and Matthew. We lived nearby and as I grew up, I was always amazed at Beth's accomplishments and patience. She was a brilliant woman and beautiful. She inspired me to pursue full education opportunities. I shall miss her very much. Dr. Natalie Norman Housel

Beth was a consultant to the Onondaga County Probation Department for several years. She was brilliant, energetic ,helpful and a world class consultant . We all loved her. Over the years several of us spoke of her often.Prayers to her family.

I've loved and admired the Alexander family-Lee, Elizabeth, and children as long as I can remember. Got to know them a little when I was in high school. I was proud to have them in office/making a difference in my city of Syracuse. Lee is gone from us and now it's Elizabeth's time too. They're greatly missed. My sympathy to the rest of the family. Both your parents were proud of each of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I grew up in Syracuse and my dad Daniel Langlois served under Lee Alexander's administration with the Syracuse Police Dept until his death in 1980.(not police related). I reside in Winter Springs now. My family still lives in Syracuse and sent me the obit notice. I just wanted to offer my condolences to the Alexander family. Did not realize your mom lived in Winter Park. Small world. Denise (Langlois) Shaw , Winter Springs, Fl.
