Read MoreI have such fond memories of Betty as my girl scout leader and 'life coach'. What an amazing woman she was. She was always so encouraging and generous. She shared her love of the outdoors with all of her scouts. I will never forget the many times she hosted us in the Adirondacks. I have trinket box she brought back from India that I will cherish. Sending heartfelt condolences to Betty's family.

I met Betty through her 'friends of the sub-continent.' She always had such a peaceful and warm presence at every gathering. Rest in peace Betty, as you shine your Light into the great beyond.
