To Betty`s Family
I met Betty when she would come to my elderly mother`s home to perm her hair. My parents would carry on and on to me and my sisters about what a lovely person she was. She wasn`t just a stylist, she was a close and personal friend to them. We soon learned that Betty was one of those rare people who cared about others, sacrificing her own needs to help wherever she could and I will never forget her kindness to them. Will always remember Betty as a very happy and positive person.
From my first meeting Betty (Laird Ave Essex-1969) she never forgot me. Always showed her care and compassion for other people. Just a very lovely person to know.
My thoughts and prayers are with her children at this very sad time.

Such a lovely person. I'm so very sorry to see that Betty has passed. Her big smile and friendly attitude made me feel so welcome when I moved here in 1976. It was always a pleasure to see her when she walked uptown . Prayers have gone up for her to have a lovely journey with good company on her way to her place in God's kingdom.
