Dear Atkinson Family, I send my condolences at this difficult time, and share a rememberance of Bette. My Mom, Katherine M Reynolds, and Bette had a long history of singing. They met as young women in Queens, New York in the 1940's and were fast friends. Bette was Katherine's Maiden of Honor.
