As a sister Girl Scout, I enjoyed her energy and love for Girl Scouting. I met her again as a member of the West Jackson Service Unit of Girl Scout Leaders and she had formed a troop in this area. Her beautiful gray hair would be blowing in the wind at Camp Wahi and she was busy leading a spirited Girl Scout song. Thank you Mrs. Libby's family for sharing her with us.

As a sister Girl Scout Leader, I was certainly blessed by our paths crossing through scouting. Mrs. Libby was a precious jewel who God gave to us for a long productive life. It pleases me to say to you that we loved her and will keep you close in our prayers so that God may comfort and soothe your spirit. I think of the song, "Linger" where we just say " goodnight and not goodbye because as the years go by"; we'll think of Ms. Libby and all of her work for Girl Scouting in Mississippi. Pearl...

I worked with Libby many years ago in AAUW and was always amazed by her energy and passion for the civic organizations she supported. We were bless to have her as friend and advocate.
