I have only just now heard this devastating news. Liz Bailey was one of the finest people I have ever known. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her. - Doug Wilson

So many wonderful memories with Liz Allen, from just yesterday (1976) in the basement of Wisconsin's state capitol, to our overlapping years in DC, to her recommending where to take my kids on the river in Pepin a couple of years ago. What a wonderful, committed life Liz shared with Jim and all of us. I am a better person for having known you, dear friend, and I am happy that you are now resting peacefully. Jeff

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

We had the privilege of meeting and becoming neighbors and friends at Siesta Key ,Fl. Great people and we miss them greatly. Best of luck in D.C . Hugs and kisses. R.I.P Liz

What a wonderful life!! I first remember Liz as a fellow graduate of the LBJ School in Texas, and worked with her again when she headed up Wisconsin's State/Fed Office. She and Jim were so good at keeping up with friends and colleagues and I missed them when they retired to Florida. Welcome back Jim and Liz, we miss you! Rest in peace. Nancy Etkin
