Elizabeth Barlow

I was so grateful for the life of Betsy Barlow. She entered my life when I was asked by bishop Browning the presiding bishop of the episcopal church in the USA to take on the role of chair of friends of sabeel in the US. Betsy had formed the group in 1998 but could not continue due to health issues. But sh was a part of our steering committee and did so very much for many years. Betsy was one of the kindest and most knowledgeable people I know. She made each day brighter with her beautiful smile and friendship. I will missed so much.

Betsy´s friend from Liverpool, UK, Janet Davies shared her deep commitment to Palestine and they met several times with Friends of Sabeel. Janet is now in residential care but I (her sister) have told her the sad news and Janet sends her love and sincere condolences to all the family.
