Growing up in Wisconsin, I always enjoyed going to southern Illinois to visit our Beane relatives. Aunt Liz, and so many others, made it feel like a home away from home. Seeing and hearing Aunt Liz, Uncle Jim, Aunt Marj, Uncle Hersch, and my grandparents catching up, telling stories, laughing, and kidding one another around the table is such a sweet and comforting memory - especially in recalling Aunt Liz´s voice and laughter in the mix of those lively conversations. My Mom, Marjorie Beane, and Aunt Liz, became best of buddies as Aunt Liz recovered from brain tumor surgery many years ago. They enjoyed sharing card club, bingo, and slot machines/with lunch at the boat for a great many years, plus drove together to `Carol´s´ in Brighton to get their hair done. After my Mom passed, Liz and Dad stayed in touch daily to share family news and make sure all was ok at either end. Dad will definitely miss those daily phone calls.

David and Jana, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I know its a hard transition losing a loved one. If I can do anything, just let me know. My prayers are for you and your family.

Jana, Alan and I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was always so nice and kind to our Jenny. I remember them making the trip to DC for Jen and Sean's wedding.Prayers for helping you and your family get through this difficult time. RIP Elizabeth.
