Betty passed into the next life as she lived here, with dignity. Betty was selfless, always concerned with the comfort of others. Even in her final days, she was concerned that meeting her needs would be an inconvenience to others.

Another friend and I for the last few years visited her almost weekly for uplifting conversation and a game of Scrabble, in which Betty would play the most interesting, frequently obsolete, words played by any of my Scrabble opponents. She was most often...

Many times Betty came to my Sunday School class and brightened it with her cheerful countenance. I am sure she will be missed by many.
