Bob, I'm sorry I cannot attend Betty's memorial. Please know that you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bob, I am so happy that Christine was able to spend time with Betty when we were back in Philly. And I am so thankful to have learned of her friendship with Madeline .... This was a revelation to me and touched me (and Kathy) deeply. What a life the two of you had together. With sadness....and much love, John Hughes Jr and Christine Sullivan

Bob - Jeannie and I are unfortunately unable to attend the services for Betty. She was so easy to be with and we enjoyed all the times with her at The Christmas and Farm parties. She always had a smile and a laugh! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We wish to offer our deepest condolences to the family. Our friendship goes way back to middle school and we have been good friends ever since. We have great memories of our families together. Betty will be greatly missed.

So very sorry for your loss, Cheryl. Your mother seemed like a force of nature. The obit really captured her spirit, intellect and drive. What a wonderful life!
