im so sorry for the loss of our friend and neighbor. missing from this wonderful write up is her job as Driver of the bolles bus delivering dearruda terrace students to school!

I was lucky enough to know Bambi briefly near the end of her life, and I looked forward to every encounter with pleasure, wondering how she might skewer me --or herself --with her wonderful and sometimes wicked sense of humor. As well as being hilarious to be around, Bambi also possessed a quiet dignity and joyful nature that uplifted everyone who knew her. I wish I had had more time to know her. Sending peace and love to her whole family.

Bambi was sweet and kind, with a backbone of steel. She and Hebert were the perfect couple: devoted to each other to be sure, but still incredibly independent and giving to all. I'm happy Hebert has his precious wife with him again, but I'm sorry for the immense loss her family, St. Columba's and entire community are experiencing. I'm so glad I knew her.
