Beth never ceased to amaze me. She was one of the most intelligent women I've ever known, educated, well-read, and well-traveled. I loved listening to her stories about her travels and looking at her photos and the treasures she'd carefully selected to bring back home. Beth will be missed very much by her family and friends. She was a good family friend of my mother's for decades and a wonderful librarian at AHS. My condolences to her sons, Mike and John, and her daughter Gabe!

I knew Beth back in the day from Alton's Unitarian Church and always regarded her as a dear friend. I'll so miss you, Beth.
