I will always love and miss her; I delighted in being a part of her family; sharing family holidays; decorating the family Christmas tree; and participating in family birthday celebrations. I had the privilege of knowing and loving Liz for nearly 12 years; it was my privilege to enjoy many family dinners and holidays with her. I so enjoyed taking her for pedicures, hair cuts and frequent visits to the farmers market downtown Grand Rapids. Liz was always very thoughtful and gracious. I lived with my mother, since i came off of the mission field, in 2011. I'm grateful for the time that we shared over the past, nearly 12 years, as roommates. It was an honor and a privilege to care for mom, as she battled the last few months. We shared some of the most tender and compassionate moments, that may not have been possible, had she not been so very ill. "...and I will always love you, as from birth, until my death, for you have been my mother, Elizabeth."
