Not sure what to say?

I knew Mrs. Brogdon from the 60's. I frequented the Dairy Maid. She was a great person. She had a great personality and she sure did put out some good food. Later her son, Steve married my sister and her legacy continues thru him and his brothers.

I will miss you and The Dairy Maid for the rest of my life!"Sharecropper"& I ordered ALOT of chicken!GODSPEED,MISS LIB

Growing up under the watchful eye of 'Papa Doc" and Ms. Lib was a very important part of my life. The many days spent sweeping the parking lot of the Dairy Maid every morning, getting to make burger patties in the back, and spending time with both of them meant so much to a kid with little self confidence. Lib and Doc always gave me more than I could ever repay, and even if I could, I know they wouldn't take it. All of you know that both of them were special to many of us for many different...

Tommy, Steve, Sam,
I only learned of Miss Lib's passing this morning and it broke my heart. She was a very importand part of my life for many years. As with so many other kids growing up here in the 50's and 60's, she and Doc were not only my mom and dad's best friends, she was a surrogate mother to me. No matter what kind of problem I had, I could always go to her for advice and comfort. Without exception, Dock and Lib join my parents and grandparents in having the most influence on me...

Tommy, Sam, and Steve.
While growing up your Mom and Dad meant so much to me, They were special to the young folk back in the 50's and 60's and fed us well, take care of each other and your Families and take stock in the life your Parents lived as an example.

Please accept my condolences to all of your family. May God Bless and keep you as we will continue to keep your Family in our prayers.

I was saddened to learn of Lib Brogdon's passing. She was a surrogate mother to a generation of Loris kids in the 1950s and 60s. The happy hours we spent at the Dairy Maid are a cherished memory for all of us. Lib and Doc were an important part of our lives, and we will remember them always. I will keep a good thought for all of you in the the coming days.

Condolences to the Brogdon family in the loss of your matriarch. May each of you feel the peace of God's love at this time of loss.
With sympathy.

Renee, Rodney & Family,
We are praying for you & your family during this time of sorrow. May God comfort your heats & may you cherish the precious memories that you have been given in this life. Sincerely, Vaughn & Betty Viles
