Read MoreAs a young partner of Dr Jack Butterworth, I first came to know Betty as the grand dame of West End Orthopaedic Clinic. She was so welcoming, kind, and helpful to the young wives as Jack was to the young doctors. In later years at Westminster-Canterbury it was always a joy to see her and hear proud updates about her children & grandchildren! She was a very special lady.

My husband Jimmy and I had the pleasure of getting to know Betty as First Presbyterian´s bus would go to and from church from WC. What a treat she was! Always dignified, courteous and polite, and so incredibly funny. She was so proud of her family and enjoyed telling us about them. Betty loved life and it was contagious. We will surely miss her smiling face. Prayers for her family during this difficult time.
