Not sure what to say?

I was very lucky to have been a friend of Betty's. She was a lovely lady and very passionate about her cats and The Elmwood Park Zoo. Betty and I became friends when she was on the Board of Directors of the Elmwood Park Zoo as secretary and we would have to compare meeting notes. We had lunch a couple of times ( especially Chinese her favorite). She will be missed very much. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Janet and her family, she loved you dearly.

So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. We lost touch many years ago but she was one of the first people I met when I started working at GE (Matsco) in King of Prussia....we shared an office area. She had such passion for the Elmwood Park Zoo -- a huge loss for the animals!

I first met Betty when I started at GE in 1979. She was a helpful and gracious resource for company policy and operational procedures. And she was always willing to guide new employees through the mass of GE and government regulations. But most of all...she brought out the best in everyone she met.

Betty was a sweet lady and was always a welcome call when she needed our service. She will be sadly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with her family...God Bless

Betty was a dear friend. She loved the zoo and especially the cougars. She helped save the zoo many years ago and was a first docent and later docent president and Chairman of the Board at the Elmwood Park Zoo. Her intelligent spirit guided the zoo for many years and she will be greatly missed by all and especially by me.

A dear friend who I admire for her passion and commitment for all animals and especially for her love of the Elmwood Park Zoo. Betty will be missed but her spirit will live on forever at the Elmwood Park Zoo. Rest in Peace
