Not sure what to say?

Dear Ronan, Brian, Penny, Lee, Kim, and Pat (and your families),

Lynn and I were in Florida when I heard by e-mail that your mother had passed away. We just arrived home today.

As you all know, she was one of favorite persons and some of my happiet days were spent at 48 Manning with all of you (hockey, drumming on the furniture in the cellar, etc.) and the "Mrs."

I will never forget the Christmas Eves I spent at your home and countless other occassions.

She was a...

Betty was a wonderful wonderful person. We loved her and Ronan, our great neighbors, as family. We, our children, and our many many friends who met them will always miss them.

Dear Members of the Campion Family,

Your Mother was my Hero, my ideal and a joy to have as a next door neighbor. There are so many memories of her generosity, her laughter and her unconditional faith that it would be difficult to recount them all.

One time two of my brothers returned from military service in the middle of the night and within an hour she was at the door with a silver tray of coffee and goodies just as if she were going to a party looking beautiful in her robe...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

I never knew Mrs Campion, but my parents, Kay and Des Reilly always talked fondly of her and Ronan. I remember they saying they had the best wedding they ever attended, and a happy marriage. My best to high school buddy Ronan, and the rest of his family.

We are so sorry, and we are thinking of you and sending you our love always.

My husband and I rented a first floor apartment in the house next to the Campion's home. When I looked out our window, I saw an elegant woman in a long, tailored skirt and healed pumps raking leaves. It was Mrs. Campion. She was just as kind and friendly as she was elegant. After we spoke a few times, she and Mr. Campion invited us into their home . She gave us a Christmas ornament before we moved and asked us to visit. We did do so once, and I'm sorry our lives got so busy that we were...

Our deepest sympathies for your loss. Though we never knew her personally, she was the matriarch of a wonderful family, and her legacy will live on through all of you. Love, The Tona Family

Dear Campion Family Members,

What a wonderful woman Mrs. Campion was and how fortunate all of you were. The obituary was wonderful.

As the children know, the Campion and Conners families go way, way back. I was always struck by how close in time your Dad's death was to my father's, just a week or 10 days apart.

My mother, Margaret Egan Conners, always said that Betty Campion was the most beautiful woman in Albany and that was certainly true.

After your father...
