“Betty Lou’s gettin out tonight.”
I remember being in the car with her and Erin when that song came on the radio. She was so excited hearing her name in a song.

To this day every time I hear that song it makes me laugh.

Sweet dreams Betty Lou.

Ms. Canning was the absolute best. 3rd grade was the year I learned to loved school, all thanks to her. She always had the best energy and I was truly blessed to have her. She taught my brothers and sisters as well and my mom always said She is such a HOOT! My condolences to her friends and family! You are all in my prayers!

My Deepest Sympathy to her family at this time. I was lucky to have her teach me at St. Charles. She was a teacher that made learning fun. Always gave the best hugs when you saw her. Her laugh was the best. She will hold special place in my heart.

She was the best teacher I ever had. I was lucky enough to have her in 4th and 6th grade at St.Charles. She would always make us laugh everyday in class. She made learning fun! She was a wonderful woman!! Prayers to your family at this time.
