We will miss Liz and her generous spirit. I spent many years working with Liz in Camp Fire, going back to the mid 70's, and have many happy memories from our adventures together. My condolences to Richard, Jan, and Gary, who lost their beloved mother too soon.

Liz was truly a wonderful person. We are sending a gift to Chiapas in her honor

Carole & Charlie Badgett

I was sad to hear of Liz's illness and then her passing. Liz hired me in 1996 as her Admin. Asst. with Dallas Healthy Start and she taught me with her words and her actions. I admired her for many things. She was a true leader.

It was with great sadness I read the obituary. I had not seen Liz since leaving Dallas in 1996, but we kept in touch for a long time, up until about a year and a half ago. She was such an important part of my life as a friend when Gary and Jan were young. I was sitting on Liz' doorstep when Jan was brought home for the first time. She was a wonderful person, a wonderful friend.

My condolences to Gary, Jan and Richard.
