Read MoreMy deepest sympathy to Betty's family. I worked with Betty at the Applied Mathematics Lab at the David Taylor Model Basin. When I arrived in 1961, Betty was already known as one of the brilliant Mathematicians who worked in the Math Lab. In later years when I had more occasions to work with her, I also learned that she was a very kind, pleasant and friendly person. I join with her family in mourning her passing.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked with Betty at the David Taylor Naval Research and Development Center from 1956 - 1970 (UNIVAC 1 thru the LARC computers). Betty was brilliant, kind, warm and helpful to all in the Applied Mathematics area. I join you in mourning the transition of this great lady.

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Dr. Elizabeth Cuthill on her passing.
