I was teaching at the same time Elizabeth served in the High School library with William Greaney and Joseph Purcell. I remember her as a soft spoken, lovely person. It wasn’t until after we both retired that I had the honor of interviewing her for ROBS; History Project. That was when I learned about her life.

Ruth,Lois and family I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. DeLong. I have so many pleasant memories of her when we worked together. My sincere condolences to all of you.

Ruth, Lois, and all....I was very sorry to hear about Aunt Betty and I'm sorry that I couldn't be there for the services. Please know that my prayers and love are with you all. -- Anne and Bridget Behrens

Remembering Betty is so easy to do. She was that extremely helpful and knowledgable person in the Brentwood library who kept my English classes humming along. And then she was a right hand to all of us who worked through the Presbytery of Long Island in doing the myriad number of things that needed to be done. She was a love! My thoughts are with you all!

Our prayers and love are extended to each one of you in this time of grief.

Ruth, Lois and faimly I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Betty's passing. She is at least in a better place now and not suffering anymore. I will always remember all the wonderful times growing up with her. Lee, Louise and the Behrens family

my deepest symphanies to you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Betty was the first to welcome me(Mickey) to Brentwood Presbyterian Church and her kindness and open arms are a memory I will never lose and cherish.
