Dear Betsey,

I just found out we lost your mom this year when my Christmas card was returned..I am your father's niece...Ethel and Myrtle were sisters. How I loved your parents!!!. Elizabeth was such great fun and Ray was so sweet.
Let me know what happened to his crimshaw collection...we so admired it.
We met when you were very young and we lived in New Jersey fior a short time. I always admired and cherished my connectionwith your dad.

Love,

Virginia Allen Puchner....Myrtle's daughter.

Dear Family, Elizabeth and Ray deLucia were our daughter, Susan Kamm Connors, Godparents. We have been in contact with Elizabeth for all of these years since White Plains, NY. My husband Bill Kamm and I were sad when our Christmas card was returned this year. Please accept our most sincere sympathy. Elizabeth & Ray and Betsey and Ray served us
Eggplabnt Parmigiana many years ago, and I still have that recipe! We knew them through St. Bartholomew's Church and Carol's mother, Bess Wiggins. Our love to you all, Carol & Bill Kamm, [email protected]

Betsey, Hal, Kate, Beth and family,
Your elegant mother and Nana was a joy to be with at New Horizons. How remarkable that I never once saw her down in spirit. She always had a witty take on circumstances around her and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge in such a caring way! Her talent at the piano was amazing and she certainly knew how to be the life of the party when she wanted to be so! I will miss her dearly: the music, the tea, her needlepoint, her knack for always being so gracious and funny...but I count as the greatest joy the connecting of your wonderful family with me once more that happened because of her. How lovely she and lucky me! Love to you all.

Dear Nana,

Thanks for the 46 wonderful years of having you in my life.

You were such a special woman You spoke with people so easily. You made people feel comfortable. You inspired with your e-mails. You were up to date with your Skyping. You had your music to offer anyone who asked. You gave so much. You especially gave to my family.

We shared wonderful conversations by the pool while Georgia and Dalton swam and you stitched in your chair or did cross word puzzles. You always had a story about your life and some good advice and plans for future trips we would take. Your lumpy chocolate sauce and rhubarb sauce, which I will continue to bring to family events were always a hit. Your turkey soup making after our annual Thanksgiving Dinner was a labor of love for all of us.. The kids and I had a blast making up the craziest food care packages of goodies for your gifts.

My kids are so lucky to have had their Great Grandmother move to Massachusetts and visit with, for the last 8 years. You kept them engaged with your animal music parades, tea parties, piano lessons, Tuesday Sing Alongs and conversations. My kids loved to come visit. AND you got to see all their school projects, concerts and extra curricular performances. We also had such great travels to Texas, Wyoming, Arizona, Utah and more. Four generations getting along and enjoying themselves. Those memories will be cherished for the rest of tour lives.

Thanks for being such a great person ......and presence in our lives.

Love ya, Beth

Aunt Elizabeth provides us a great example of living life to the fullest. She and Uncle Ray spent their lives exploring, learning and sharing their experiences with all those around them. I hope I can learn from that example

So sorry to hear about Elizabeth. Our mother, Shirley, really enjoyed her piano playing when she was living at New Horizons.
